The sensors can be installed in a variety of locations in your building, including in the ceiling (typically with coverage up to 12′ x 12′ when placed on an 8′ ceiling). The sensor is designed to detect smoke or vapor and will send an alert when triggered. The device can also be configured to trigger on other chemicals and particles, such as perfumes or cleaning products.
